This shows the two burns, Killhope Burn (right) and Burnhope Burn (left) joining to form the River Wear then beginning it's long journey to Sunderland.
Taken last week while the snow made it look even more picturesque than usual.
The houses in the background are Wear Villas, Wearhead School is situated behind to the extreme right, but unfortunately not quite in view.
