More digging!
The local church is St. Thomas' Church, in the parish of Heatherycleugh in the Benefice of Upper Weardale. We have a service every sunday morning at 10am and a mid week service every Tuesday at 10 am in February, May, August and Nevember. Two other parishes take turns with the mid week service during the other months. This means everyone is only a short distance from one of the services, as our Rector has 7 parishes!! Before we could hold the service yesterday, we needed to dig a path through the snow, but it did not take long with 6 helpers.
