The Bishop of Durham, the Rt Rev Dr N T Wright presided at the Palm day Service at Heatherycleugh Chuch today. The procession from the village hall to the Church was led by Karen and her donkey, Monty, followed by the Bishop, then Rev Brenda Bloomfield (left) and Rev Susan Kent (right), with over 100 other members of the congregation following behind.
