This photo looks down onto Lanehill, wher John's mother lives. Her house is in the centre of the photo. The road going across to the plantation is called "Stoney Path" and goes through Hawkwellhead, then turning right takes you over the top into Teesdale, ot turning left takes you down to St John's Chapel. The house in the foreground is called Rainwalker House and is on the Sedling road.
