Looking down into Burtreeford from the top of the Well Bank. At the left is the children's playpark. The domed hut on the left of the road side is a Nissan hut which has been there since the 1930s but it has collapsed with the weight of the snow, so this is probably the last photo of it!! Opposite the hut, at right angles to the road, a lane leads up to the Whin Quarry. The house at the top centre of the photo is Bents Cottage.
