Looking down into St. John's Chapel from Harthope Top. The road at the top left goes over Middlehope and into Rookhope. The wood in the centre left is Hawkwellhead. The houses at the centre right are in St. John's Chapel, while those in the centre of the photo are in East Black Dene. Still quite a bit os snow in the foreground! (taken 16 march) and on the hills above Chapel.
