In Jan 2010 I showed a picture of the Burtreeford Chapel being renovated. this is how it looks now. The main part of the building was the Chapel and the part with the patio doors was the hearse house, although it was only single story at the time. The horse drawn hearse can now be seen in Beamish Museum. What a good job they have made of it!
