On the back road from Cowshill to Burnhope Reservoir. Looking up the stream behind the water pipe you can see Cleugh House, lived in for many years by the Milburn family, now derelict. The road dips sharply down towards the stream then back uphill, this part of the road is called "The Lochs". There is a sheep dipping ford to the left of the photo
