The Cyclists in the Etape event went past our house on Sunday October 6th during their 78 mile journey around Co Durham, starting and ending at Barnard Castle. Over 1500 riders took part, rasing money for Marie Curie cancer care. Our house is about 25 miles from the start so they had a long way to go. Lots of hills to climb as they went!
