 Pry Hill is just beyond Burnhope Reservoir, at the junction between Cowshill and Wearhead.  For many years the home of the Lonsdale family, now the home of the gamekeeper.

Burnhope Lodge



Burnhope Lodge at the far end of the reservoir.  Once belonged to the Waterboard but now belongs to the owner of the shooting estate. Also rented out for private functions.

High Ling Riggs used to be called Wintergap, my grandma lived here when she was a child.  The road behind leads down to Irestone and forms part of the boundary between the parishes of Heatherycleugh and St.John's Chapel.
