Melon Isle is a very old house just outside Cowshill. It is not far from the river, and has not been lived in for years. It would be really nice if it could be renovated, but recently the owners applied and were turned down by the local Council, although I believe it could improve the beauty of the area by allowing such changes.
Any idea where the name Melon Isle comes from??
